Causes Of Tiredness And Fatigue: How To End Tiredness And Fatigue By Eliminating The Causes
The causes of tiredness and fatigue can often be linked to the kind of lifestyle you have. Are you a workaholic dad or a housewife with four hyperactive kids? Do you drink a lot of coffee or smoke like a chimney? You may not think that these things have any sort of impact on your life, but think again!

By examining your daily routine, you’ll be able to pinpoint the exact causes of your tiredness and fatigue. Below are some of the common culprits that get in the way of living a dynamic life.

1) Stress

Stress is one of the common causes of tiredness and fatigue. It chooses no age or gender. Valerie, a senior officer at a successful accounting firm, is only twenty-four and yet her stress levels are very high. As a result, she doesn’t have enough energy to even go out and have fun with her friends during weekends.

But stress doesn’t only manifest from spending too many hours in the office. A mom who stays at home all day looking after her kids is very likely to feel stressed out. After all, she has to feed the children, play with them, cook and clean, etc.

While not all of us can afford to avoid working altogether, we can at least give ourselves a break or two in between all the stress. If you’re like Valerie, stop taking too many overtime slots and start prioritizing yourself. If you’re a mom, indulge yourself in a spa treatment every once in a while. Give yourself time-out to relax and unwind.

2) Smoking

Smoking is one of the little-known but damaging causes of tiredness and fatigue. If you’re a chain smoker, you are probably more prone to tiredness and fatigue than anyone else. You’ll also be more likely to fall into states of depression. Not a good combination.

However, smoking is not a habit you can just let go of that easily. Try to kick the nicotine habit one cigarette at a time. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how less tired you’ll feel after just a month of two or not smoking.

I also recommend that you keep yourself preoccupied with other activities during this stage in your life. Friends who are trying to quit smoking say that swimming and taking yoga classes are doing wonders for their disposition. Not only do they feel healthier, they also feel less tired in general.

3) Lack of Sleep

Lack of sleep will eventually catch up to you, people always say. Even if you’re used to pulling all nighters, you still won’t be able to escape the feelings of tiredness and fatigue.

It’s important for people to get enough quality sleep every night. After all, it is during sleep that your body repairs itself and prepares for another day of challenges. Unless you give your body time to recuperate, you’ll end up facing another day feeling worse for the wear.

Stress, smoking and the lack of sleep are just some of the common causes of tiredness and fatigue. Now that you know how your lifestyle is affecting how well you perform everyday, perhaps you’ll now take the necessary steps to deal with it.

Smoking can cause fertility problems in both males and females. It can even cause impotency in men. In women, it increases the time required to conceive. Women smokers may also have to bear with the risks like early deliveries or physically malformed children. If you continue to smoke after delivering, the newly born could even die.

There are also a number of health benefits of quitting smoking. It reduces the risk of serious diseases, such as cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and peripheral vascular disease. It also reduces the risk of other unpleasant problems, including optic neuropathy, cataract, macular degeneration, psoriasis, tooth loss and osteoporosis.

You do your body plenty of good by giving up smoking. Smoking creates hormonal imbalance in your system. This will cause the fat to acquire round the waist and the higher body. Tumescent Liposuction
Liposuction has been one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the United States and other parts of the world. Although liposuction has become accessible, not everybody can be considered a candidate for liposuction. There are certain physical conditions that one has to carefully take a look into before considering liposuction. First and foremost, the person has to be physically fit. Second is that the person should have been maintaining a balanced diet. If despite all these there are still deposits of excess fats in concentrated areas of the body, then the person can opt for liposuction. One has to carefully consider the risks of liposuction. Although, there have been advances in these procedures, liposuctions procedures are still considered risky.

In the past, the greatest risk of liposuction procedure is blood loss. There have been found to be a lot of blood loss in the aspirate which would require blood transfusion. This has caused many apprehensions and hesitations of several people in undergoing the procedure. However, a dermatologic surgeon was able to find the solution for the concern regarding blood loss. Klein discovered that blood loss can be minimized with the administration of local anesthesia. Moreover, the administration of a local anesthesia reduces the risks of general anesthesia. This method has become very effective and is now used as a liposuction technique. This technique that was developed by Dr. Klein is more popularly known as the tumescent liposuction.

The procedure of tumescent liposuction is done by applying local anesthesia in diluted solution. Included in the solution are other medications that are necessary in filling the fatty layer of the skin. This is done to minimize blood loss as excess fat is removed. Blood loss is minimized because the tissues are made swollen and firm by these medications thus enabling excellent control in the removal of excess fats. In the tumescent liposuction, there are a lot of advantages as compared to the wet technique. Some of these advantages include: less blood loss, decreased risk of infections because of the administration of bacteriostatic lidocaine, absence of need for intravenous fluid replacement, lesser need for a secondary procedure, extraction of the lipid-soluble lidocaine with the aspirated fat, lesser anesthetic effect which is approximately 24 hours, and moderate dosages of lidocaine.

These reasons have been considered sufficient for most men and women to undergo a liposuction procedure. Tumescent liposuction is also less expensive because it is categorized as an out patient procedure thus eliminating possible costs for hospital admission. Moreover, because the anesthesia administered is just localized, the patients are totally conscious in the entire procedure. This can be an advantage for consultation purposes between the patient and the doctor for an accurate procedure.

Anxiety Disorder and Anti-Anxiety Treatments
Anxiety is Wide Spread

Who among us has not at one time or another had something to be anxious about. Whether it was studying for an up-coming exam, a first date, focusing on a work project, preparing for an important speech, or dealing with the pressures of everyday situations, no one is exempt. In fact, the number of Americans feeling anxious or tired has risen recently. It is estimated that about 40 million Americans age 18 and older suffer from one or more anxiety disorders in a given year - which gives way to fear and uncertainty.

However, not all anxiety is harmful - as a matter of fact it is a normal reaction to stress which helps us work through some tense situations. It can be a great coping mechanism. It is only when anxiety persists and becomes out of control, it then no longer is harmless and becomes a disabling disorder and if untreated may become more debilitating.

It is not uncommon for these disorders to be in combination with other physical or mental conditions, including substance or alcohol abuse, which may exasperate the symptoms or in some cases mask the symptoms. Therefore, it may be necessary to treat these illnesses before combating anxiety disorder.

The five major types of anxiety disorders are:
l. Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) - This is the most common anxiety disorder and in any given year effects over 6.8 million adults in the US - women being twice as likely to be afflicted. Although it is a disorder that comes on gradually it seems to be at its highest peak during childhood and middle age. It is believed that biological factors such as: background, family, and the events of one’s life experiences, contribute to this disorder.

2. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) - It’s a compulsion when individuals use rituals to control persistent and upsetting thoughts.

3. Panic Disorder - Is when you experience sudden attacks of terror accompanied by sweatiness, weakness, pounding heart, faintness, dizziness or all of the above, instigated by a fear of impending doom or loss of control.

4. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - It is in avoidance of the experience one may have developed as a result of a terrifying event, which may have involved physical harm, whether to oneself or a loved one

5. Social Phobia (or Social Anxiety Disorder) - Is when individuals become overly excited or anxious and are extremely self-conscious in everyday social situations, accompanied by embarrassment and fear of being judged by others.

Anti-Anxiety Treatments

Fortunately there are many tools available in the treatment of anxiety disorders. Some of which include Anti-Anxiety medication, psychotherapy or both. However, anti-anxiety medication alone will not cure anxieties, but can help controlling them while pending psychotherapy. Many individuals practice relaxation techniques as well as herbal medicine in combination with these treatments and some opt for the later independently.

Regardless of what treatment option you seek out, there is no need for individuals to suffer with anxiety related disturbances. Although these disorders may start out innocent enough, they can lead to severe health issues physical and/or psychological. So, please contact your physician and get on the road to recovery and enjoy the world that is awaiting you!!
